• Tapsee Pannu The actress, who will next be seen with Varun Dhawan in Judwaa 2, is all set to pair opposite Diljit Dosanjh in Shaad Ali’s next movie.
• Taapsee has already impressed us with her acting in ‘Baby', ‘Naam Shabana' and ‘Pink'.
• The film will be based on hockey player and ex-captain of the Indian hockey team, Sandeep Singh. According to the source,“It’s a beautifully woven love story about two ice hockey players, where the woman helps the man achieve his dream and go on to lead the country. It’s a romantic journey of loss and love, dreams and hope.” The movie will be based on the life of Sandeep Singh and the woman who inspired him.
• As per a report in Mumbai Mirror 2006, Sandeep Singh was all set to go to Germany for the World Cup, but he got severely injured by an accidental gun shot while by travelling by train. The injury almost paralyzed him; he was put on the wheelchair for nearly two years. In 2009, He became the man of the tournament at Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. He garnered a silver medal at the Common Wealth games 2010 Delhi. Also, he went to become the lead scorer between 2013 – 2015 in the Indian Hockey League. He scored a total of 178 international goals.

• Eid 2018: Now, what would this festival be without a Salman Khan release? 
• The booking of festivals much in advance highlights the growing importance of festivals in the business of cinema. A festival release ensures that holidays add up to the weekend, in turn resulting great in theatres. 
• However, festival releases are not a concept new to Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn are known for Diwali releases, Salman Khan for Eid and Aamir Khan for Christmas. 
• but of late, most of the movies being released during the non-festive season didn’t do much business as compare to those that were released during festivals. This may be seen as a good reason for stars booking the 2018 dates much in advance. 
• Of the four movies which made to the coveted 100-cr club, three were festive releases. 
• Superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’, over the five-day weekend it saw following Eid, minted Rs 180.30 crore. 
• Similar was the case with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ which enjoyed an extended weekend of four days during the Independence Day weekend. The film released on August 12, earned Rs 68.23 crore by the end of Independence Day holidays. Airlift, released on January 22 this year, was another movie which made it to the club. Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 3 was the only exception to this rule. 
• The biggest disappointment of Bollywood this year was SRK’s Fan, which was a non-festival release. Despite Shah Rukh’s star power, the movie didn’t do expected business. The story could have been different had it been a festival release. 
• During the coming year, Aamir is going for a Diwali release and SRK for a Christmas one. 
• Obviously, each production house is backing these big projects wants to make as much as profit as possible.

• Saaho will be made in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. Shraddha has also started to learn Telugu for the Telugu, Hindi and Tamil trilingual.” 
• The source further added, “It isn’t as though there won’t be an official language coach on the sets. There will be. Both Prabhas and Shraddha will have a professional tutor to help them with their language. But Prabhas and Shraddha will converse with each other in Hindi or Telugu depending on which language they are shooting in. It is a pact between them.” 
• Saaho is a bilingual action thriller, which is directed by Telugu director Sujeeth Reddy. Music for the film will be given by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. Saaho will also feature Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi and Mahesh Manjrekar in key roles. To be shot in exotic locales including Romania and Abu Dhabi, besides Mumbai and Hyderabad, the movie is set to release in 2018.
